Deskford’s aim is to combine the very best features of community.

Deskford is a 4 acre development with 2 acres dedicated to landscaped gardens, and, in keeping with its emphasis on the natural environment, it has been designed to be both environmentally responsible and self sustaining. Every drop of water that falls on Deskford, for example, is captured and held in storage in massive underground water tanks, so the gardens can be watered continually without breaching water restrictions. This guarantees that our gardens will always remain a superbly maintained oasis of green, without you having to lift a finger or a hose. The Deskford community is made up of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. Each is self contained, but as explained previously, can be adapted to suit your changing needs. Each has its own private entrance and balcony. All the fittings and fixtures in each apartment are of the highest quality, and you can furnish and decorate your home according to your own taste and comfort.

Creating the very best sort of neighbourhood.

Deskford welcomes visitors of all kinds, with a particular emphasis on children and family. If you regularly mind your grandchildren, you can continue to do so. Take them for picnics in the grounds or to the in-house cinema or café and show them off to your neighbours. If relatives or friends arrive from interstate or overseas, you can put them up in your home. You can entertain, run a business, convene meetings, practice yoga or the piano in your apartment, just as you would living anywhere, with no more and no less consideration for your neighbours than is usually expected. You can join in the social activities available within the community or not, as you please, but, be warned, you may find it difficult to avoid making new friends.
